BloggersKafe.com - Another Malaysian Affiliate Program Scam Like ViewMalaysia.com?

Category: Travel
Founder/Owner: Unknown. No contact information on website and the WHOIS information of the domain owner is suspiciously made private and protected from public.
Website: bloggerskafe.com

After about three years, we believe that the owner of ViewMalaysia has managed to start a new scheme - bloggerskafe.com. It may not be exactly the same but the modus operandi and the theme still revolves around travel. However, this website is slightly different because it uses Facebook to reach more audiences.

I am not yet saying this website and the affiliate program is a scam like ViewMalaysia. However, I am not willing to fall for the trick for second time so I am not risking my money this time. For your information, I have referred many new signups to ViewMalaysia last time and requested for my commissions countless of times but to no avail. What I am asking right now is for you to let us know if you have gotten any payment (with screenshot or scanned proof) from this affiliate program so that we can verify this is a legitimate program.

Please bookmark, share and tell as many friends as possible about this post so we can learn more about this company.

For the mean time, I will stick to promoting the best shopping cart, the best photo books, best PPC and other affiliate programs instead of trying any of the shady Malaysia-based affiliate programs such as this one.

Make Money from Web Hosting Affiliate Program and more

Here is an article borrowed (with permission) from Web Hosting Guide about how you can make money from web hosting via global affiliate programs, and also via reseller, dedicated hosting and more:

You may have heard many other niche where you can start your affiliate marketing business. Some of them include promoting free digital prints or online photo processing, selling business logo design services, or even recommending best online backup services. Of course none of these you can target to Malaysian or even South East Asian market. How about we try reselling hosting now? Many Malaysians will need these services!

So maybe you have a few potential or existing clients who require web hosting for their websites. Maybe you have already been doing freelance web designing. How do you monetize the web hosting accounts you manage for these clients? Should you refer them via affiliate programs and gain commissions, open a reseller account to gain yearly residual income or even setup your own dedicated web hosting server?

Viewmalaysia.com A Scam?

Category: Travel
Founder: Unknown (No contact listed on website except it says 'Trademark of Zool')
Website: www.viewmalaysia.com

Is the View Malaysia membership a scam? If you are an internet surfer based in Malaysia, you may have come across some ads about a holiday discount website called ViewMalaysia. You may even be tempted to join. I joined the Account A on Aug 2006, put some ads everywhere around the web to promote them and just forget about them.

I went back to check my balance recently. I noticed I have some balance to be redeemed after more than 2 years joining (I joined in 2005 as an Account B holder). I requested to redeem at the end of Oct 2007. So after a few days the status of my request was still pending.

I contact them via email but to no avail. The answers they gave sounds to me like they never even read what I wrote. They just ask me to refer to the website. What is wrong with writing a few words to explain their delay? From then on I started to search on Google about other complains about viewmalaysia.

The forum post below was posted on View Malaysia Forum by a user named "RM1_TOUR", who joined on 07 Oct 2006 and he has posted 12 times previously. This post was posted on 31st Oct and on Nov 3rd, it was gone from the board. Thanks to Google cached facility, I was able to extract what was written by the author. I don't know if more was written about this problem but was immediately censored by the moderator/admin of viewmalaysia.

"viewmalaysia pending payment hampir 1 bulan

saya belum terima lagi redeem cash dah 4 minggu masih tak dapat-2 bg email kat admin ...senyap jer....buat -2 dek jer..
nak redeem harga promosi rm1.00 link tak masuk....tak leh masuk...
mane duit saya..... ...
dah tak boleh saya redeem cash pulak tapi hampa masih tak dapat-2
kalau masih tak dapat saya akan report kat MSC malaysia nanti...
semua hati-2 kat admin ni...nak contact takde pulak no...tepon dulu ade ,tapi di edit bg orang tak leh kol dier....lak

alamat ade...tapi alamat US pulak....no.tepon pun takde...
scam scam scam...
kalau redeem cash masih tak dapat saya akan heboh satu dunia view malaysia scam scam scam scam
check kat www.who.is pada yg nak tau milik saper web site ni...

hati-2 sebelum nak join viewmalaysia ni"

So if posting on their forum will obviously get your post deleted, let us see how they respond here. If you have any experience with viewmalaysia redemption, kindly share with us here.

[If a staff of viewmalaysia.com is reading this, please correct me if I am wrong on any of my writing above]

Update: On 16 Nov 2007, almost 3 weeks since I ask for cash redemption, there is still no news of my so called money or commision from View Malaysia. Can I assume that I have been scammed? Damn. I am part of the statistics now. I fell for an online scam. The saddest thing is that this site was created by a Malaysian. :(

Are Malaysians really that gulible? Guys and gals, please think ten times before you try signing up. You might as well donate that RM240 to an orphanage rather than make this scammer a few hundred RM richer. Let us all teach View Malaysia dot com a lesson that we don't condone scams like this in Malaysia. Let us remove all our affiliate links...
